Why did I get an alert even though the price didn't change much from when I started tracking?

Alerts are based on change since your last notification, not the original tracking price. After each alert, the baseline resets to the current price.

Will I get notified about every price change?

Only price drops that exceed your threshold percentage trigger alerts. Price increases don't trigger notifications. The baseline resets after each alert, so the price needs to drop that percentage again from the new baseline.
